Ammonite Pair / Opalized Ammonite / Ammonite Specimen / Polished Ammonite / Opal Ammonite / Ammonite Fossil / Ammonite Slice / Ammonite

This listing is for one intuitively picked Ammonite pair

These Opalized Ammonite fossil specimens have been sliced directly in half and have a highly polished front and a raw back. The raw backside often has an opalized area with a unique rainbow sheen. These run in a wide range of golden color hues and intricate designs. Each one is natural and will have its own individual traits.

The Ammonite is a shelled nautiloid that was part of a now extinct group of marine invertebrate mammals. It is a beautiful example of the Fibonacci spiral exhibiting itself in nature, as in the classic nautilus shell.
